Our Story
Rob and Carolyn have been managing Owners Corporation portfolios for over ten years in Victoria and the Northern Territory owning multiple Ace Body Corporate franchises.
We commenced in Ballarat and managed a portfolio in South West Victoria including Ballarat, Geelong, Warrnambool and Hamilton as well as properties in smaller towns such as Daylesford, Terang, Portland, Torquay and Bacchus Marsh.
In 2015 we were asked by Ace Body Corporate Head Office if we could travel to the Northern Territory to assist the Darwin franchisee and ended up purchasing the business.
Rob also took on the role of working directly with Ace Body Corporate Management as the Northern Territory Area Development Manager.
We then sold the Victorian portfolio to concentrate on the Northern Territory and expanded the Darwin business extensively as well as setting up a new franchisee in Alice Springs.
After five years in the Northern Territory it was time to return to South West Victoria to be closer to a rapidly expanding family and as Owners Corporation Management is firmly in our blood, WestVic Strata was born.
We have enormous experience in all facets of Owners Corporation Management ranging from three lot unit developments through to a 740 lot hotel, single storey through to 25 storey, residential and commercial, heritage listed, setting up new plans in conjunction with the developers, the commissioning of a 96 vehicle multi-level car stacker, industrial sub divisions and retail shopping complexes.

Rob was a senior manager with one of the Mayne Nickless transport divisions before switching to petroleum sales owning a multi-site franchise with Caltex.
Rob sees it vital to keep up to date with industry developments and has always been active in Employer groups including roles as chairman of the Australian Service Station Association, Executive Board member of the Victorian Automobile Association of Victoria (VACC), Board member of the Real Estate Institute of the Northern Territory (REINT) as well as multiple roles in various Strata Community of Australia sub committees.
Rob is very skilful when it comes to chairing meetings, is an expert administrator with a strong accounting background and enjoys the challenge of solving difficult and complex matters.
He is a member of Rotary, joining in 1984, and is also very active in Motorsport.
Carolyn has extensive experience in providing high level customer service through her previous roles as a Travel Manager and Team Leader for 13 years with Corporate Traveller (a division of Flight Centre Travel Group) and five years as an Owners Corporation Manager with Ace Body Corporate Darwin.
She is an expert in client relationship management and understands the value of developing strong business relationships with all key stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
A strategic and proactive thinker, Carolyn has a strong ability to negotiate cost savings with third parties on strata asset maintenance agreements and understands the importance of adhering to policy, procedures, and expenditure budgets.
